Police and district officials are investigating reported threats made against two more schools in Oklahoma City Public Schools.

Oklahoma City Public Schools says a threat was made against Northeast Academy and John Marshall Mid-High Thursday. 

An Oklahoma City teacher was arrested at school, accused of having ties to the Irish Mob.

Classes have been canceled for students at Southeast High School in Oklahoma City on Thursday due to a damaged gas line, according to an Oklahoma City Public Schools district spokesperson. 

Thursday night, Oklahoma City’s School Board voted 8-0 against turning Northeast Academy, a school with an enrollment of 263 students, over to a company that wants to convert it to a charter school.  

Oklahoma City’s Schools Superintendent Thursday night offered a “Plan B” as an alternative to closing five neighborhood elementary schools, with low enrollments, after this school year. 

With six schools in Oklahoma City school district potentially set to be closed or consolidated, questions are now being raised about what happens to the millions of tax payer dollars there were supposed to be doled out.
